Kotex
Kotex is a trade Mark of a Ligne of products of the sector of the female Hygiène . It is a subsidiary company of the Société Kimberly-Clark. The line of product includes the towels " Maximum Pads" , protect-below them " Lightdays" and the plugs " Female Wipes". In addition to the products of hygiene of regular absorption, Kotex also produces plugs ultra-absorbents.
Kotex became famous in 1921 while inserting advertisements revolutionarily causing in a preserving magazine intended for the housewives called Good Housekeeping. In spite of criticisms which rose, business success encouraged them to place more publicities. The growing popularity of Kotex was in particular described by the auteure Mary Pauline Calender, which wrote leading articles on female intimate hygiene.
The incredible success of their publicities for a product which one considered taboo propelled the Kotex products to the row of the famous companies such Listerine and Fleishmann which used the same advertizing methods at the same time.
