Korriban

Korriban is a planet of the wide universe of the Star Wars .

Planet of origin of the Sith, it was formerly populated by these characters humanoïdes, who had the strange characteristic to have in them the Force, thing which was rather rare among other inhabitants of another planets, where some only could use this force to become Jedi. Sith, in the beginning, are neither good, nor bad. Unfortunately, Korriban became a ground of exile for Jedi, the Jedi Noir S, which had rocked of the obscure Côté of the Force. They were astonished to see at which point the Force was large among inhabitants of Korriban and thus decided to use them at warlike ends.

Sith which did not know Jedi regarded the arrival of Jedi Noirs as the arrival of gods, and are reflected with their service. Jedi Noirs then took the control of these people and became the Lords Jedi Noirs, who became Black Seigneur of Sith, then the term, through crossings between Jedi Noirs and Sith, ends up applying to all the population of Korriban. The planet knew its apogee at the time of the reign of Revan and Dark Malak with their academy of Dresdae. After the death of the chief of this academy, it followed from there a civil war which decimated Sith.

Today Korriban is an abandoned planet cemetery. Immense tombs rise among the assembly lines of planet, and one can feel the obscure Force emanating from these tombs. It is not impossible that a fragile person of spirit does not succumb involuntarily to the obscure side, it is what that many people, and especially Jedi, do not dare to venture on Korriban.
