Konrad Witz
Konrad Witz is a painter Suisse originating in Souabe (1400? - 1445?).
Often approached by the historians of art for questions of attributions, it is interesting to use tools for analysis articulated around the question of the eccentricity in painting. Whereas it is often classified among the medieval artists, one can ask for Witz how considers modernity and with which means it penetrates there. Ironic or humorous reasons were raised in painting of Witz and were interpreted in optics to reconsider the painting of the Master bâlois.
