Koninklijke Nederlandse Munt
The Koninklijke Nederlandse Munt (Royal Currency of the Netherlands, KNM ) is the factory of national currency of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Since 1567, the parts of the Netherlands are struck with Utrecht. The State of the Netherlands gives still today the mandate to Koninklijk Nederlandse Munt to manufacture its currency.
This company thus specialized in the striking of the currency of current ciculation, but also of medal, collector's items, silver postage stamps and others Gadget S.
Until 1994, Koninklijke Nederlandse Munt NV, also then called Rijks Munt was a semi-public company. Following the royal decree of June 15th, 1994, the company became an independent company whose Kingdom of the Netherlands is the shareholder at 100%.
