Komodo (island)

Komodo is an island belonging to the Small islands of the Probe in Indonesia.

Its surface is of 390 km ² and its population of approximately 2.000 inhabitants, who are condemned descendants the old ones exiled on the island mingled with Bugis originating in Sulawesi.

The language komodo belongs to the sub-group known as Bima - sumba of the branch Malayo-polynésien of the Langues austronésiennes.
