Kokuji

The kokuji (国字) are Kanji created with the Japan and not in China. “ Kokuji ” means national character . The kokuji started to be created in VIIIe century. The majority do not have a reading '' one ''. Some were borrowed by the Chinese (like “働”) or the Korea NS. There exists more than 150 kokuji in the Kanji included/understood in coding Unicode, but only 6 belong to the Jōyō kanji .
