Kojak

Kojak is a American Televised series in 118 48 minutes episodes, created by Abby Mann and diffused between the October 24th 1973 and the March 18th 1978 on the network CBS. In France, the series was diffused starting from the January 8th 1975 on Antenne 2.

A second series, in nine 45 minutes episodes, created by Michael W. Watkins according to the first series, was diffused in the United States between the March 25th and the May 22nd 2005 on the network the USA Network and in France starting from the September 18th 2005 on 13th street.

Synopsis

This series puts in scene the investigations of lieutenant Theo Kojak, police officer of Greek origin with shaven cranium and large amateur of Cigare S and lollipops, in the thirteenth district of New York.

Comments

It is during the 8th episode (season 1) that Kojak appears for the first time with a lollipop with the mouth. With a colleague who asks him: " It is what these lollipops? " He answers: " I want to reduce the fracture of the generations… ".

The second series is a remake of the first. The hero is always bald person, impeccably vêtu and amateur of lollipops, but it was replaced by an actor Afro-américain.
