Koçi Xoxe
Koçi Xoxe (API /k ɔ ʧi ʣɔ ʣɛ/ , can be also spelled in French Kotchi Dzodze ) is a politician Albanian, born in 1917 and deceased the June 11th 1949, it remained famous to have been hero of resistance and leader of the party of Albanian work.
After the Second world war and the release of the Albania in November 1944, Koçi Xoxe cumulates the functions of Prime Minister and Minister for the Defense of the Popular republic of Albania. He was the instigator of the integration of his country in the Yugoslav confederation wanted by Tito, with which he shared friendly relations. Following the congress of the Cominform to Belgrade in June 1948, and the beginning of the ideological scission between Tito and Stalin, it was isolated capacity in May 1949 then carried out, following a secret judgment orchestrated by Enver Halil Hoxha, then president of the Albania and faithful partisan of the ideas of Stalin, who also saw it like a potential competitor with the capacity.
