Knút VI of Denmark (1163 - 1202), king de Danemark of 1182 with 1202.

Little time after its advent, it subjected the Scanie which had revolted under the control of Harald Skraenk, wire of Oluf II of Denmark; conquered the Mecklembourg, countries of old the Vandales, the Livonie (1196), the Holstein. Its reign was for Denmark one time of power and prosperity. Following its conquests, it took the title of Rex Vandalorum (Danish Vendernes Konge) , that the kings of Denmark preserved since.
It did not have a child of its marriage with Gertrude of Saxony born in the 1154 and dead on July 1st, 1197 which was widowed of the duke Frederic de Souabe and girl of the duke of Saxony Henri the Lion
