The Genouillère is mechanical part of connection having 2 axes of rotation which makes it possible to use a Outil with a different angle. It is characterized by 2 parts made up of a male square and a square female, bound by an axis. Its form allows the transmission of the force without phase shift of use (including between 0 and 180°). The most current application is with a Ratchet spanner , losqu' one cannot use it with the vertical of the part to be dismounted.
