Known as of Amiens

The Known as of Amiens , or Put of Amiens, is a returned arbitration with Amiens by Saint Louis in a conflict opposing the king of England Henri III to his barons revolted around Simon V of Montfort (January 23rd 1264).

Saint Louis takes the party of king d' Angleterre but the barons refuse to incline themselves. Initially victorious, they will be then crushed with Evesham by the troops of king d' Angleterre ordered by his son Edouard (August 4th 1265).
