Comment
Here, violence is absent and yet the film was interdict with less than twelve years, because of its last scene, and can be also of this revolt of the characters vis-a-vis the violent authorities and without respect. Always minimalist in his setting in scene, by choice on the one hand (its preoccupation with a realism in extreme cases of documentary), or by constraint, since it inevitably did not have money to pay a sequence shot five minutes. This film is a pure film of geek, because he tells about the history of a community taking part in a RPG sizes nature, but constemment, it is a film to be seen like a declaration of love to imagination in any kind. It is, like always protestors, this film is a pure cry of hatred towards the Establishment and the Hollywood dictat, it is a pure UFO which breaks with the horror romérienne, not head which explodes, not of eventration, sobriety, and imaginary, quite simply, but especially, revolt against the authority, a film more of the Seventies that of the 80 ' S so much it pushes with rising, Romero operates a step such Sam Peckinpah. Films like one does not dare any more to do them, our the visual company choosing the screens green and final improvements.
