Knight with white wings
The Chevalier with white wings ( Prosobonia will leucoptera ) was an endemic species of Tahiti (French Polynésie). He is known by only one specimen collected by Johann Reinhold Forster (1729-1798) and painted by his son Georg Forster (1754-1794) in 1773. The specimen is preserved today at the natural history museum of Leyde.
