Klaus Wolfermann

Klaus Wolfermann , born the March 31st 1946 with Altdorf EIB Nürnberg in Bavaria, is old a German Athlète specialist in the Throwing the javelin.

It obtained its greater victory with the Olympic Games of summer of 1972 with Munich, with a jet to 90,48 m in front of the Soviet Janis Lusis, which carried out to him 90,46 Mr.

It carried out its best personal performance the May 5th 1973 with Leverkusen, establishing new world records with a jet with 94.08  Mr. This record remained the reference during nearly three years. From 1968 to 1974, it gained six consecutive titles of champion of Germany to the throwing the javelin. Klaus Wolfermann weighed 89  kg in for 1,76  m in competition.

Very popular, he was elected sportsman of the year in FR of Germany in 1972 and 1973. At the end of the 20th century, it was indicated better launcher of German javelin of the century. In 2004, it was one of the carriers of the Olympic flame during its crossing of Munich.

Since 1967, he is married with Friederike, has a girl, named Karen who was born in 1970. Klaus Wolfermman lives with Penzberg.
