Klaus Voormann - born the April 29th 1938 with Berlin - is a Bassiste and German Illustrateur .

Biography

Made Voormann of the studies of graphic designer with Hamburg when it meets the Beatles in 1960 with the Kaiserkeller : Astrid Kirchherr and becomes to him their best friends then. It joined Beatles with London, where it assembles its first group Paddy, Klaus and Gibson . In 1965, it plays of the low in the group of Manfred Mann and carries out concert a career of Musicien and Graphiste: it is him which creates, in 1966, the small pocket of the album of Beatles Revolver , and in 1968, that of Idea , third album of the Bee Gees.

The friendship with Beatles was never contradicted so much so that it continues to play of low on the albums Solo S of John Lennon, Ringo Starr and George Harrison. It belongs to the group Plastic Ono Band (of Lennon and Yōko Ono) - it takes part in particular in the concert filmed Toronto Peace Festival - and is credited on the albums Imagine , Ringo , All Things Must Pass , or on Concert for Bangladesh .
