Klaus Doldinger
Klaus Doldinger (born the May 12th 1936 with Berlin) is German Saxophoniste. He is especially known as musician of Jazz and type-setter of film music.
Between 1947 and 1957 Doldinger attends an academy with Düsseldorf. During this time he attends the medium of the music with the group The Feetwarmers and Oscar' S Trio since 1953.
He studies the Musicologie and he makes a formation as sound engineer. He makes his first round in the United States in 1960 then created in 1962 the Klaus Doldinger Quartett .
From 1964 it composes for advertizing industry, the theater and the cinema. It makes its first band its with Negresco in 1968. In 1970, he writes the principal melody for the German detective series Tatort In 1971 he founds the group Passport , with which he publishes 28 albums. He obtains a world success with the music of the film the boat in 1981.
Since 1960 Klaus Doldinger is married with Inge Beck. He is father of three children: Violated, Melanie and Nicolas Doldinger. He lives since 1968 with Munich.
