Kiviuq
Kiviuq (S XXIV Kiviuq) is a irregular Satellite prograde member of the group inuit of the satellites of Saturn. He was discovered in 2000 by a team carried out by Brett J. Gladman (temporary designation S/2000 S 5 ).
He bears the name of Kiviuq, a “giant” of the Mythologie inuit. Kiviuq (also spelled Keeveeok, Qiviuq or Kivioq) is Inuk legendary and heroic, a kind of Ulysses inuit which lived a long time or had several lives, travelled and lived all kinds of adventures whose details depend on the local tradition of the storyteller.
Kiviuq appears of red color light and has a spectrum Infrarouge very similar to those of Siarnaq and Paaliaq, thus supporting the assumption that the members of the inuit group originate in common the fragmentation of a larger body.
Kiviuq is supposed to be in resonance of Kozai, i.e. reducing its slope periodically by increasing its eccentricity and vice versa.
