Kitimat

The district of Kitimat is a city located at the North-West of the Colombia-British. It covers a surface of 242,63 km square and account a population, according to data of 2001, 10.285 inhabitants. The city belongs to the regional district of Kitimat-Stikine.

In the Fifties, the city knew an important demographic explosion when the Alcan company established a factory in this area.
