Kitaa
Kitaa ( Greenland-Westerner , in Danish Vestgrønland ) is the name of one of the three counties of Greenland. Its seat is located at Nuuk. It is about the county more populated Greenland with a population of approximately 50.000 inhabitants (90% of the inhabitants of the territory).
Kitaa extends from the southern point of Greenland and goes up towards north along the Mer of Labrador, the Détroit of Davis and the Baffin bay. It is bordered in north by the county of Avannaa and in the east by the county of Tunu.
Fifteen of the eighteen communes of Greenland is on the territory of the county. Nevertheless, as for the whole of Greenland, the entirety of the population is in cities and villages located in seaside, the grounds being only occupied by the Inlandsis.
