Kissed

Kissed is a Canadian dramatic film carried out by Lynne Stopkewich, left in 1996.

Synopsis

The film puts in scene Sandra Larson (Molly Parker), an young woman whose attraction for the Mort leads it to study the Embaumement with the office of Undertaking of its city, under the direction of Mr. Wallis (Jay Brazeau). Matt (Peter Outerbridge) a medical student, falls madly in love with it, but Sandra is discovered a tendency nécrophile, an erotic attraction for the bodies of which it is occupied. Of dimensioned sound, it cannot thus like Matt as it could hope for it. They however become very related one to the other. The more their relation evolves/moves, the more the suffering of Matt increases. It will be ready with all so that Sandra can like it. This film, well far from film of horror, is a fable full with poetry and lyricism. The environment of film, far from being unhealthy and captivating, magic. One with the impression which the history is out of time, in an at the same time imaginary and marvellous world. Sandra likes deaths, but death frightens him. It is attracted by death, but it adores and respects the life. It does not support the human or animal suffering. With the college for example, she refused to dissect frogs, even dead. She remains persuaded that the bodies always feel emotions, the suffering of the autopsy, or the love. This film is a parabola on the complexity of the human reports/ratios. It is a message of tolerance and love for all the people " différentes" , that one rejects often just because of their difference, without their leaving time to open their heart and their heart with people known as " normaux". Like Sandra, these people marginalized (homosexueles, people of small size, handicapped people, trisomic) have sometimes an ocean of love and kindness to be offered to us. Still is necessary it to make like Matt, and to take the trouble to know them.
