Biography
Kisho Kurokawa was born with Nagoya, in 1934. It was a radical Japanese movement of avant-garde preaching the recasting of the models of architecture around an Asian philosophy.
It make speak about them by presenting manifest texts and projects spectacular. Their architectonic approach associates the technicist attitude of the New Brutalism with the idea of an architecture inspired of the biological processes. Their often utopian projects urbanistric are with the image of the helicoid structure of the DNA, the associative aggregates of primary megastructures and modules in particular being able to be replaced with the liking of the needs.
The World Fair of Ōsaka in 1970 was the apogee of this movement. However, this group dispersed shortly after. Kurokawa is the founder and the president of the cabinet Kisho Kurokawa and associated, founded in April 1962.
