Kisarazu

Kisarazu (木更津市, Kisarazu-shi ) is a city (市, shi ) of the Préfecture of Chiba, with the Japan. The city was founded on November 3rd 1942. Population of the east city of 123.355 inhabitants for a surface of 138.66 km ² (2005).

Since December 18th 1997, the Tōkyō Wan Aqua-Line (東京湾アクアライン, Tōkyō-wan-akuarain ) connects Kisarazu to Kawasaki in the Préfecture of Kanagawa through the Baie of Tōkyō. The line consists of 1/3 from bridge and 2/3 of tunnel.

The municipal symbols are the camellia of Japan and the rhododendron indicum .
