Kirn is a German city of 9500 inhabitants located in the valley of Nahe.
Known for the production of leather and beer, Kirn was capital of Wild- und Rheingrafschaft and seat of its counts, princes de Salm-Kyrburg until the annexation by France in the years 1790.
