Kiranti

The Kirants or Kirats S have a confederation of people of the Nepal which gathers the people Rai, Limbu and Sunuwar. These people have in common a language Tibéto-Burmese: Kiranti.

Kirants follow their own religion, distinct from the Bouddhisme and the Hindouisme. He believe in two supreme divinities: Sumnima and Paruhang and in a multitude of gods second-rate among which: Sakela, Sakle, Toshi, Sakewa, Saleladi Bhunmidev, Chyabrung, Yokwa, Folsadar and Chendi. They have two festivals important in the year: Sakenwa Uvauli (during the season of the semances) and Sankenwa Udhauli. they believe that they go down all from the same named person Chandi.
