kingdom of Scotland (
Kingdom off Scotland in
English) was a
State located in
Western Europe, in one the northern third of the island of
Great Britain. There existed of
843 until the Traité Union (1707) which linked it with the Royaume of England (927-1707) to form the Royaume of Great Britain (1707-1800). Its population in
1700 was roughly of 1,1 million people.
