Kingdom of Hawaii
The Royaume of Hawaiʻi was a kingdom established on the Archipel of Hawaii at the 19th century.
The kingdom was established between 1795 and 1810 by the annexation of the kingdoms independent of Oʻahu, Maui, Molokaʻi, Lānaʻi and Kauaʻi by that of Hawaiʻi and the formation of a unified government. Monarchy hawaiienne knew 8 sovereigns:
- Kamehameha I {{er}}, king of 1810 to 1819.
- Kamehameha II, king of 1819 to 1824.
- Kamehameha III, king of 1824 to 1854.
- Kamehameha IV, king of 1855 to 1863.
- Kamehameha V, king of 1863 to 1872.
- Lunalilo, king of 1873 to 1874.
- Kalākaua, king of 1874 to 1891.
- Lili {{okina}} uokalani, queen of 1891 to 1893.
After the inversion of the Liliuokalani queen in 1893, the kingdom was directed by a Provisional government until in 1894, date on which monarchy was definitively abolished and the République of Hawaii proclaimed.
