Characters

  • Henri Hill (Hank Hill in the original version): It resembles much to the character of Tom Anderson of the series Beavis and Butt-Head, some even affirm that it is thanks to Tom Anderson that Henri holds the first role of the series. Henri proudly sells “propane and all his accessories” as an assistant managing of the company Strickland Propane. Henri is generally a quite disposed father, but it often sometimes happens to him to be confused and frustrated in front of the modern tendencies, as well by those of his friends and the members of his family. He is badly at ease vis-a-vis the Intimité and with the Sexualité, but he has a healthy relation with his wife, just like with the remainder of his family. Whereas it is distant émotivement with the members of its family, it adores its dog indecently.
  • Paulette (Peggy in VO): Mother of Bobby, woman of Henri, it is professor Spanish substitute of . Large amateure of Boggle, it has also a very great regard of itself compared to the others, as well as a pair of feet of size equal to its personal regard
  • Bobby : Wire of Henri and Paulette.
  • Joanne (Luanne in VO): Niece of Paulette, it lives in Hill.
  • daN (Flagstone in VO): Friend of Henri, it is exterminating.
  • Papineau (Boomhauer in VO): Friend of Henri, it speaks very quickly.
  • Ball (Bill in VO): Friend of Henri, he is barber in the army and lives in loneliness.
  • Clotère (Knitting machine in VO): Father of Henri, it lost his kneecaps in a war.
  • John Septgrains (John Redcorn in VO): It is an Amerindian who often looks after the “migraines” of the wife of daN.

Comments

In Quebec, Hank is called Henri, Peggy is called Paulette and they live with Holy-Irene and curiously have a clock in the form of state of Texas. Many the references to Texas were changed into rather Québécois references.
