King Lune

the King Lune is a Play Belgian Dramaturge Thierry Debroux. It was published into 2005 with the editions Lansman and was created the same year with the Théâtre of the Meridian line to Brussels.

Summary

This part evokes the character of Louis II of Bavaria, which one called the insane King . Today, the whole world knows, visit and admires the odd castles which it built.

Its life during, this exceptional being continued an ideal of beauty and nobility, purity and esthetism.

The part tells one of the famous suppers of Louis II, whom it only passed, conversing with itself. The evening when the part starts, Louis II has just learned death from Wagner. Ruined by sorrow, he seeks comfort near his following, an young man whom he loves of love; during this night, it evokes the memory of the brilliant type-setter, it speaks about his culprit Homosexualité, share in search of the beautiful absolute and makes fun of the one of its ministers who foments a coup d'etat to reverse the insane king .

Finally, the king kills his minister by strangling it in an access of fury and fatal madness.

The spectator finds then Louis II with asylum; its male nurse is the young man whom he had loved in the first portion of a piece; its doctor, finally, is the Minister for the first left. One goes in fact counts that the supper was imagined by the sick spirit of the king.

At the end, Louis II dies, drowned (murder, suicide, accident?).

Once died, Louis II finds the moon, his mistress.

And the part is completed on these words, marked by Louis II: “ the moon… The moon… ”.
