King Heenok

the King Heenok is the Pseudonyme of a Rappeur Quebec having reached in 2004 and 2005 a certain notoriety on Internet.

King Heenok makes known himself in 2004 thanks to a buzz generated by his Web site, including/understanding many Vidéo S with the format QuickTime. Being presented in the form of a revival of the French-speaking Gangsta rap, King Heenok draws the attention of certain media French and occurs in concert with Paris on November 24th, 2005 in a club called Paris Paris.

Characteristics

King Heenok is distinguished in his interviews by employment from a language sometimes diverting and a somewhat déstructurée syntax, enamelled recurring expressions (" hear You, young fag? ") and often surprising (" My medallion touches with my penis "), or openly anti-semites (" My Tee-shirt of Pakistan, han? Shit Jew, young fag ") or (" Ah not, ah not ah not but which is what whore of master key with this negro whore ").

Its rap is also characterized by a rather atypical slowness, which would artistically bring it closer to rhythmic to the slam.

Influences

Having begun within the collective Drama Stay Live Entertainment, King Heenok is at the origin of another formation, Gangsters and Gentlemen, at the sides of other Quebec rappeurs such as Rap Iso, Kinimod & Ugo Boss. King Heenok and his collective fall under the tendency gangsta movement rap, as well in the imagery as in the texts. Bound to Gangster and Gentlemen we also find Maze, the owner of Northern Bank, member of the formation the Associates. Refine also fits in the tendency gangsta and its texts are at the very least ambiguities (" (...) would be polished because… your heart is likely to forsake your body (...) "). King Heenok admits to be influenced, and to be concerned, by films like Rambo 1 , or Scarface (aka the Gash in Quebec). He considers of aillor the scene where the partner of Tony Montana is made cut out with a chainsaw like the entertainment with his best. (cf interview available on Internet).
