Kindia
The town of Kindia is located at 135 km of the capital Conakry and counts more than 150000 inhabitants. City as a populated majority of soussous and Peuls, it is the prefecture of the Région of Kindia.

The principal districts are: Suburbs, Cacia, Slaughter-house, Kenende, Kondetta, manquepas, yeole, Station, sinaniya, tafory, sarakholeya, ferefou, gadawawa, caravancerail, wondy, fissa, koliady. It is the 2nd military zone of Guinea. This cosmoplite city par excellence is famous especially to be the " capital of the citrus fruits " in Guinea.
The organization of commune
The commune of Kindia is a territorial collectivity managed by a deliberating body whose executive is contitué by the mayor of the commune. Since the last communal elections Dr. Mamadou Dramé provides the function of mayor.
