Kinéret
Kinéret ( כנרת ) is a Kibboutz located in Galileo, and which nacquit initially as an agricultural farm.
Kinéret is founded in 1908 on the initiative of the world Organization Zionist like agricultural farm, and it represents a decisive historical pole in the history of the establishment in Palestine. Kinéret is made up of buildings built around a central court, and the whole surrounded by walls.
In 1913, on the edges of the the Jordan and not far from the kibbutz Degania, Kinéret is constituted in kibbutz. The kibbutz counts today 500 members living inter alia on the agricultural activities and tourism. It cultivates mainly the olive-trees, the date palms and mangos.
It is envisaged to transform the farm of origin into national museum.
