Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts
The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts is a great complex dedicated to the live performances on Broad Street, with Philadelphia. It is the property of Kimmel Center, Inc., an organization which also deals with the Academy off Music in Philadelphia. The center was baptized in the honor of the philanthropist Sidney Kimmel. The building was drawn by the architect Rafael Viñoly. The center opened its doors on December 16th, 2001. It accommodates the Orchestre of Philadelphia which is regarded as one of best world.
