Kim (people)
The Kim are people living mainly in four villages of the area of the Mayo-Kebbi Is with the Chad. They were 15.354 in Chad in 1993 (RGPH).
Ethnonymy
The name Kim is of origin barma. Kim do not have a generic name in their own language, they use a specific name for the name of the inhabitants of each of the four villages.
