Kilwa Kisiwani
Kilwa Kisiwani (of the Swahili: Kisiwa , the island) is one of the troix islands of the archipelago of Kilwa, which belongs to the district of Kilwa in Tanzania. It is located very close to the coast.

The sultanate of Kilwa, born on the island, will become most important of the sultanates of the Culture swahili then to disappear. The island thus has for this reason many ruins registered in 2001 on the Liste of the world heritage of UNESCO.
