Kill The Young

The group

Kill the Young is a group of Rock English originating in the area of Manchester, composed of 3 brothers, Tom (voice & guitar), Dylan (low) and Oliver Gorman (battery, choruses, keyboard). The name of the group wants to be deliberately provocative: it underlines the pressure exerted by the consumer society on the young people.

Course

From the exit of their first album éponyme at the end of 2005, Kill The Young sold more than 25.000 units in France, 50.000 in Europe and finished a round of 140 dates while playing closed counters with the Elysium Montmartre of Paris.

Its experiments live at the sides of artists like Placebo, Depeche Mode, Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand and on festivals such as the Transmusicales of Rennes, Solidays, T In The Park in England, the Swiss Paleo Festival in , Botanies in Belgium, or The Music In My Head in Holland, gave to the group a scenic solid reputation and an international dimension.

The group mancunien left its 2nd album on September 24th, 2007 at Discograph. Proud Sponsors off Boredom , produced by Dimitri Tikovoï (Placebo, Goldfrapp, John Fixes, Alpinestars, Marc Almond…), was mixed by Jacquire King with which one off owes the last album of Kings Leon (number 1 of the sales in England at its exit) but also the albums of Modest Mouse, Be Your Own FART and Good Charlotte. All the graphic and visual universe of the album will be carried out by Juno Studio in responsible England enter others of the albums of Arctic Monkeys, The Dead 60s, and The Coral.

The first individual We Are The Birds And The Bees And We Are the Telephone trees leaves to England on August 13rd, 2007 with remixes South Central (remixor of Servant boy Kill Boy, Twisted Charm, Sunshine Underground, Shitdisco, Metronomy…) and of Sex Schon (remixor of Inflagranti, Bermuda shorts Triangle, Play Paul, The Replicants, Think Twice…) on the label avant-gardist Art Pop Goes .

Kill The Young starts a great round with the autumn 2007, after a concert on September 18th with the Cicada with in “special guest” The Bishops and other guests surprised.
