Kilimanjaro Safari

The Kilimanjaro Safari is an attraction of the Disney' S Animal Kingdom. The purpose of it is to take along the visitors in the African Savane without leaving the field of Disney and the American ground. It is also an animalist reserve completely different from the traditional zoos.

Attraction draws its name from famous the Kilimandjaro in Tanzania with the foot of which an incredible fauna henceforth protected within the Kilimanjaro National Park saw.

Attraction is done in the truck and follows a track through a savanna of almost 40 ha. African animals of big size are in freedom in this savanna. The guide indicates the site of the animals and gives explications.
Attraction is cut out in five zones: Forest Ituri , River Safi , Western Savanna , Basin of Flemish of savanna and Savane Is .

Because of the freedom of the animals, the visit is different each time. One can see more than 30 species of which elephants, gazelles, gnous, lions, giraffes, hippopotamuses and also of the rhinoceroses. The rhinoceroses of the river are same as those visible in the Pangani Forest Trail because their farm is located between two attractions.

In spite of the efforts of Disney, the marshy basement is unfortunately made recall to its good memory by place. Sometimes impressive water holes are visible length or with the place of the road. The way of origin was modified consequently.
