Kid has
Kid has is the fourth album of the British rock group Radiohead, it left in 2000.
Whereas the preceding albums (such OK Computer ) remain in a style alternative rock'n'roll, the following albums are much more Psychédélique S: Kid has mark the apogee of this experimental style of Radiohead. For this reason, he is regarded by much as a masterpiece. In this album, the guitars almost disappeared with the profit from synthetizers and sampleurs.
The name given to the album, Kid has (literally “Child has”), evokes for some a first child clone. For others, it lets think that the group regards it as its first child. With Kid has , the following album of Radiohead, Amnesiac , form a diptych of experimental music, a prolongation: Kid has and Amnesiac forms actually the diptych Kid Amnesiac .
When one launches two albums Kid has on a chain hifi and a PC for example, at 17 seconds of interval (16.8 S to be precise) one of the other, one obtains something of astonishing: the sounds marry to perfection, the words being answered… On songs like Everything in its right place and Idioteque , that created an echo effect completely convincing.
