Kicking Against the Pricks

Kicking Against the Pricks is the third album of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, appeared in 1986. The album is composed only of Reprise again S. the title refers to a passage of the Bible (Acts of the Apostles 26:14).

This album marks the beginnings of the Batteur Thomas Wydler within Bad Seeds.

If one regards the career of Nick Cave as a part in three acts, Kicking Against the Pricks could be regarded as component the end of the first act.

Several of the original songs taken again by Nick Cave in this album are reproduced on compilations Original Seeds .
