Kick

In English “ kick ”. In Sport of combat and in Martial arts, one speaks about technical of leg , realized with an action of the lower extremity whose surface of striking is the foot or the tibia. Several forms of kicks coexist: kicks direct, on side, back, circulars, hooked, in stick, falling down, turned over, jumped, combined, etc

In some Martial arts and in Sport of combat their use is major. It is the case for certain styles belonging to the following practices: Bando kickboxing (Burmese Boxing), Karate, Kickboxing, Slipper, Tangsudo, Taekwondo, Wushu.

Usual kicks

  • Face-kick : direct kick (hips of face) - it is of form " pistonnée" , Push-kick (Pushing-kick) or of form " fouettée" ( Face snap-kick ).
  • Side-kick : direct kick (hips on side) - it is of form " pistonnée".
  • Semi-circular - kick or semicircular in French: also forty five dismantle roundhouse-kick . Kick of the category of the techniques known as circular.
