KiXtart

KiXtart is a language of script mainly used for the openings of session in a Microsoft network. It is rather close to the batch, but with many orders as well as many macros. It is compatible of Windows 95 with Windows Vista.

Its principal asset is that there remains very simple of use and makes it possible to make about any order. It is generally faster to make a script of opening of session written in KiXtart than in VBScript.

KiXtart is distributed free under the format of CareWare (or Caritaticiel in French)

History

KiXtart was created in 1991 by Ruud van Velsen, an employee of Microsoft the Netherlands, apart from its work hours. There were initially the versions KiXtart 95 and KiXtart the 2001 then version KiXtart 2010 which takes again the functionalities of the version 2001 and most important of version 95.
