Kheled-zarâm

Kheled-zâram is, in the Seigneur of the Rings of JRR Tolkien, the name Khuzdul (language of the dwarves) indicating the big lake located at the east of the Moria, in the valley of the dark drains.

Kheled zaram can be translated by " Lake of the miroir". Indeed, when Durin Trompe-la-mort celebrates it there conptempla for the first time the reflection of stars, it decided to found the dwarf city of Khazad-dûm under the very close mountains.

The legend wants in addition that the crown of Durin lies all at the bottom of the lake.
