The Khamsin or Kamsin (Arab: خمسين, khamsīn gold khamseen) is an extreme sand wind which blows of the desert of Egypt to Israel. Its name derives from Fifty because it is judicious to blow only during 50 days of spring.

It is a dry, hot and very dusty wind, breath burning of the deserts of the South-east of Egypt in the south of Israel. At the speed of 150 km/h, it tears off the sheets of the trees and gives to the sky an orange color dark; the air takes care of dust what makes breathing oppressive. It causes some violent ones storms.

History

In the ancient Egypt, it is symbolized by the god Seth. In the ancient Israel, if somebody made a murder during Khamsin, it was not continued for murder.
