Khabur

The Khabur (or Habor , Habur ) is a 320 km length river which takes its source in the south-east of the Turkey and whose course crosses is Syria where it meets the Jaghjagh before being thrown in the Euphrate.
The Khabur river, with its various branches, is a small river. During most of the year, the river is in fact a Oued dry.
Important prehistoric sites , such as Such Halaf, Such Brak, Chagar Bazaar, Urkish, Such Mashnaqa and Such Tuneinir were discovered in the basin of Khabur.
