Kevin McHale

Kevin Edward McHale (born the December 19th 1957 with Hibbing, Minnesota) is a former player states-unien of Basket-ball evolving/moving at the station of strong winger. He was elected among the Meilleurs players of the fiftieth anniversary of the NBA. He is currently to manage general of the Timberwolves of Minnesota.

McHale knew the national celebrity with the Celtics of Boston of 1980 with 1993. It was distinguished Rookie off the Year in 1981. Always at the station of strong winger, it obtained averages in career of 17,9 points and 7,3 rebounds per match. It helped to revolutionize the concept of Sixth man. McHale gained NBA Sixth Man Award in 1984 and 1985 and was selected in the All-NBA First TEAM in 1987. He was elected seven times in NBA All-Defensive TEAM and seven times still at NBA All-Star Game of 1984 with 1991.

In Celtics, McHale formed with Larry Bird and Robert Parish what is recognized like best the frontcourt history of the tennis shoe. Celtics became champions into 1981,1984 and 1986 and their competition with the Lakers of Los Angeles remained in the history of the sport. The trio maintained between him a strong competitive spirit; thus in 1985, McHale étavlit a record of 56 points marked against the Hawks of Atlanta. After its sporting retirement, Kevin McHale joined the young frankness from the Timberwolves of Minnesota as televised commentator and special assistant in 1993.
