Kevin Keegan

Kevin Keegan is old a Football English or born the February 14th 1951 with Armthorpe (Yorkshire). It evolved/moved at the station of attacker. Career

Career in club

Keegan made its professional beginnings in 1968 with Scunthorpe United, a little considered team, but in 1971, it was recruited by Bill Shankly, celebrates it trainer of Liverpool for 33.000 books. Career in national team

Keegan made its beginnings with the England in 1973, against the Wales with Ninian Park. In February 1992, after eight years of Retirement, Keegan took again service in the world of football, as a trainer of Newcastle United, with his former friend Terry McDermott like trainer-assistant. Its first complete season, 1992-93, Newcastle United gained the title of 2ère English division and was promoted in First League. At the time of the season 1995-96, Keegan led the team of Newcastle to the second place of the championship of England, the returning championship with Manchester United. In 1999, after the dismissal of Glenn Hoddle, Keegan was named selector of the team of England. In October 2000, Keegan was replaced at its station of selector by Sven-Göran Eriksson. Keegan took retreat then and made a pause in its career of trainer. In May 2001, after 7 months of inactivity it was named trainer of Manchester City.

As with Fulham FC, Keegan made assemble as of its first season the mancunienne team of D2 towards First League. Private life

Keegan is married with Jean, with whom it had two girls: Laura Jane and Sarah Marie. It appeared in publicities for various products, of which Eau de Cologne, Chewing-gum and cereals. Keegan even made a short career of musician, his song Head Over Heels in Coils outgoing in 1979. Since its retirement, Keegan was consulting for English television, and he is currently chief of a Cirque of Soccer to Glasgow.
