Keur Madiabel
Keur Madiabel is a locality located in the Sine-Saloum, in the south-west of the Senegal, 33 kilometers of Kaolack, not far from the border with the Gambia.
History
Keur Madiabel was a chief town of district at the time of the Colonisation. The locality lost this leading role with the profit of Wack Ngouna, a smaller locality, because of policy issues.

The village of Keur Madiabel belongs to the rural community of Keur Madiabel, which is in the district of Wack Ngouna, in the Département of Nioro of the RIP (Région of Kaolack).
