Ketumile Masire
Sir Ketumile Joni Masire (July 23rd 1925, Kanye -) known as Quett Masire is a politician Botswana is, old president of Botswana of 1980 with 1998. He is member of the Botswana Democratic Party .
Masire reaches the position of president the July 18th 1980, shortly after the death of its predecessor Seretse Khama. After its exit of the presidential function, Masire is used as mediator in the second civil war in Democratic republic of Congo.
Festus Mogae replaced Masire at the position of president in 1998.
