Ket

The language Ket , which was known under the name of Yenisei Ostyak, is a isolate established in Siberia and for this reason seems to be connected to no living language spoken in the world (except for the Yugh, recently extinct language whose relation in Ket had been clearly established). The ket is spoken by approximately 2000 individuals established along the basin about the river Ienisseï. Soviet academics tried of établier a bond to the languages Burushaski and sino-Tibetan, without much success. Some think which can be integrated in the very hypothetical group of the Langues déné-Caucasians.
