Kessentchu

This article belongs to the universe of the Inhabitant of infinite the.

It is acted in fact of the famous worm of the immortality , which makes it possible its carrier to live for eternity. One really does not know how to obtain the kessentchu but with saying Shizuma, it seems impossible to keep it by introducing it, the process is undoubtedly much more complicated. Only Yaubikuni seems to know how to give Kessentchu, one can even think that it is one of the creative ones. Yaubikuni, Shizuma and Manji is the only carriers of Kessentchu (at least until now). In volume 15, Kagimura tries to bore the secrecy of Kessentchu and tries to transfer it to other people. At present, all the guinea-pigs of these experiments died, their bodies not supporting the worms (unless it is not the reverse?)

Kessentchu acts several manners:

  • It makes immortal.
  • It solidifies the age of its owner (Manji has must have it at approximately 30 years, Shizuma 40 and Yaubikuni 60,70)
  • It returns the independent cells and bodies (even crossed, the head of Shizuma can always speak).
  • One can " to resolder " parts of the body crossed (one does not count any more the times where Manji does that). In fact, more clearly, the worms resulting from the two wounds reassemble themselves.
  • the worms transmit themselves to other bodies. In light, if immortal and a normal person having each one their sliced arm, interchange their members, the worms will treat the new arm of immortal like their and will transfer the worms. On the other hand, the normal person will see her body destroyed by the worms.

Nevertheless one notices some defects in Kessentchu:

  • the weakness vis-a-vis the Kessensatsu.
  • One notes a certain dissociation starting from a certain amount of time (like Manji in volume 9 says it). If an immortal person sees part of her body crossed, a few days later, the worms will look after the wound, preventing a resolidarisation.
  • the carrier becomes immortal, not invincible (Manji is nevertheless beaten by Makie and Higa).
