Kervalet

Kervalet is a village Paludier French located in historical Brittany. It is in Loire-Atlantique and belonged to the commune of Batz-on-Sea. The origins of Kervalet go back to the 10th century and it took importance during the remainder of the Moyen-Âge, with the development of the production of salt. Thus, one built the Saint-Marc vault there, of Gothic style, dedicated to the Évangélistes. Today still, of the salt of Guérande is produced there according to the traditional methods in the saline Marais. To see the Vault Saint-Marc (Breton Renaissance style).
